Old memories

I thought this was kind of interesting:
Our daughter Cara is getting married the end of Feb. and she's found this renovated barn to have the reception in. She and Sally went to scope it out the other day and Cara was very excited about the place. She told me that it reminded her of family reunions/get-togethers, especially one time we went to "somebody's" farm in Iowa [ had to be the D&D farm] and had a big picnic. The reception menu is pulled pork & stuff so it fits her memory, which she thinks is cool.
The past shapes the present.
